Zum Verkauf steht ein schöner Panther Kallista 2,8

Der Panther hat eine Oldtimer Zulassung in Österreich und ist stets gewartet und vom Besitzer liebevoll bis ins Detail restauriert und verschönert worden. Es gibt viel Gutes zu erzählen. Ich habe aus dem Internet was zusammengetragen.

Zur Geschichte.
Der Panther Kallista wurde Anfang der 1980er-Jahre vom britischen Hersteller Panther Westwinds entwickelt. Panther war bekannt dafür, klassische Roadster-Optik mit moderner Technik zu verbinden – also nostalgisches Design, aber mit zuverlässigen Großserien-Antrieben und moderner Fahrbarkeit.
Der Kallista kam 1982 als Nachfolger des Panther Lima auf den Markt und übernahm dessen Grundkonzept, wurde aber technisch stark überarbeitet: Aluminium-Karosserie statt Fiberglas, geringeres Gewicht und Antriebe von Ford für hohe Zuverlässigkeit. Bereits damals war der Kallista ein Exotenfahrzeug in Handarbeit, kein Massenprodukt – und genau das macht ihn heute besonders.
Bauweise & Technik (Modell 2.8 V6)
Der 2.8-Liter Kallista ist die stärkste Variante des Modells und wurde nur in sehr begrenzten Stückzahlen gebaut.
Wichtige Merkmale:
* Leichter Aluminium-Karosseriekörper in klassischer 1930er-Roadster-Optik
* Ford Cologne 2.8 V6 – robust, drehmomentstark und leicht zu warten
* Heckantrieb, 4-/5-Gang-Schaltgetriebe (je nach Ausführung)
* Sehr niedriges Gewicht (unter ~900 kg) → tolles Leistungsgewicht
* Handgefertigtes Interieur mit viel Holz und Leder
* Klassischer Leiterrahmen, sportliche Abstimmung
Der Mix aus britischer Handarbeit und zuverlässiger Ford-Technik macht den Kallista bis heute zu einem der unkomplizierteren Klassiker.
Fahrgefühl & Fahrspaß
Der Panther Kallista 2.8 fährt sich so, wie er aussieht:
sportlich, direkt und pur – ein echter analoger Roadster ohne Schnickschnack.
* Das geringe Gewicht sorgt für sehr kraftvolle Beschleunigung.
* Der V6 klingt kernig und liefert viel Drehmoment.
* Die Lenkung ist direkt, man spürt die Straße.
* Offen fahren macht im Kallista besonders Spaß – man sitzt nah an der Straße, der Wind, der Motor, die klassische Optik: ein begeisterndes Gesamterlebnis.
* Ideal für Wochenendtouren, Oldtimertreffen oder einfach um Aufmerksamkeit zu erregen – ein Kallista bleibt selten unbemerkt.

1986 C reg Panther Kallista 2.8 manual 5 speed in Cream. £12,000

I have owned this car for nearly 30 years it has 61,854 miles on the clock and a new MOT with no advisories.

To keep the car in good running order I have had a lot of work done on it in the last 3 years to keep it running well and reliable. This work includes fitting a stainless steel exhaust, overhauling the rear axle, brakes inc. new seals, carburettor and the fitting a manual choke. New Alternator and Water Pump have also been fitted.

The car comes with 2 sets of keys, good tyres and has a alarm and immobiliser fitted. Located in East Yorkshire.
