I had decided to park the cars in the shape of a 4 & 0 to mark out our 40th anniversary with the Kallista’s forming the 0 and the rest the 4 all was going to plan until the last 3 arrived as I was unsure who was coming I finished of the circle with a Lima and would sort out the 4 but the Deville was running hot after the traffic to get in and cut out as soon as it arrived on the stand.
Roz, Jackie & Gwen got on with cooking the Bacon rolls and teas for everyone. Then once fed and watered a walk around the show and auto jumble was the order of the day. On the stand next to us was a cut down Corsair which had been turned into a trailer with a foldout barbeque in the boot. Also in the custom cars was a modern mini conversion.  We all met back at the tent to have the buffet lunch at 1.00 that everyone had bought a dish for. What a lot of dishes we had on offer and everyone was soon full. The rain stayed away during the show but it became very black around 4.00pm and all the stands started to pack up and by 5.00pm the tent was down and the backup car was packed. I would like to say thank you to everyone that came and displayed their cars on our club stand.
