Peak District Tour
For May next year we are organising a 4 day trip to Derbyshire and the Peak District.
Hotel and final Itinerary are still to be finalised, but as well as driving on some of the best and most scenic roads that England has to offer, we are hoping to take tea at Chatsworth House, take a cable car to the Heights of Abraham and explore some dramatic caves.
Arriving at our hotel at your leisure on Monday 11th we will have 3 days to explore before heading home on Friday 15th.
We hope to bring the package for 4 nights dinner, bed and breakfast for about £600 per couple, but this will be confirmed once all the bookings have been made.
Space will be limited, so if you wish to join the tour please let Sue or myself know as soon as possible.

“BRAVISSIMO” ITALIAN TOUR JUNE 2020
I am pleased to say our Italian trip itinerary is all but complete with the
main stumbling block being the Motorail time table. I have left out the
exact days of travel as Motorail have no timetable available for trains from
Dusseldorf to Innsbruck for 2020, but it will be from early June. However
they have offered a preliminary hold on car space and compartments prior
to the train timetables being announced. Hopefully I will be able confirm
dates in the coming week and publish asap. We are limited on numbers as
our convertibles have to travel on the lower deck so it will be first come
first served basis. The cost is yet to be finalised and at the moment
everything is quoted in Euros and with a fluctuating exchange rate the final
quote will be in Euros. At this present time the price for the hotel
accommodation B & B from day 2 until and including day 15 is costing in at
approximately EUROS 1035 per person in a Twin/Double room but this may
vary slightly up or down when final dates are available. To be added to this
will be the cost of the Motorail which will include a private compartment
for 2 with some facilities and breakfast plus the car transportation, at again
an approximate cost of Euros 466 per car each way. This does include
accommodation overnight and a big saving on fuel.

Will this be the Ultimate, we’ve had the Penultimate, or will they keep
on going?
The 2020 trip has received a suggestion to visit Toledo for a few days, this
city has a huge history especially with regard to the Spanish Civil War.
Whilst in that part of Spain we can then go across to Ciudad Rodrigo for
three days to revisit Mogarraz and the Batuecas-Sierra de Franca region and
national park, about 30 miles from Ciudad Rodrigo.
The current plan is to depart from Plymouth to Santander and drive south
to Toledo with a stopover at Valladolid(1

Toledo which has an amazing view over
the city (3 nights) the tour will then go

Rodrigo (3

member Nicola already has
an itinerary in mind including
a day trip to a village near
Leon.
We finish the tour
in the Picos de
Europa at the Del
Oso Hotel (5
nights).
