Ludlow 2008
“What a difference a year makes” !
Last year 9 cars, 17 Pcc owner/members like ‘drown rats’ braved the torrential rain.............. However this year was ‘pay-back’ time, the weather was terrific & the turnout of 10 cars, 21 Pcc members was glorious (4 Limas & 6 Kallistas). There should have been at least one more car (mine !) but I’ll leave that for a future article. We arrived early as stand organisers, to set out our ‘stall fair’. And it wasn’t long before all of the cars were in place. Our ‘star’ members & extra thanks must go to Brian & Margaret Daw, who travelled from Devon to be with us. Brian was first interviewed by the local press, then videoed for the local Authority website. And finally, awarded the ‘longest Traveller’ trophy.

We even had the ‘old Bill’ pay us a friendly visit to our stand, no problems you understand ! The day out was thoroughly enjoyed by all who agreed there couldn’t be a better setting for the Midshires area 2008 Show season opener.
